Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980) Seyrettiğim Filmler 2

1956 yapımı ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much – Tehlikeli Adam’. iMDB notu 7.5. Bu film bir evvelki yazımda da belirttiğim gibi 1934 yapımı olan filmin yeniden çevrilişidir. Benim de en sevdiğim Hitchcock filmlerinden biridir. Doris Day’in o çok güzel sesi ve şarkı ‘Que Sera Sera’ yani ‘Whatever will be, will be’ filme ayrıca yardımcı olmaktadır. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1956 yapımı ‘The Wrong Man – Lekeli Adam’. iMDB notu 7.5. Masum bir adamın bir suçlu ile karıştırılması. Henry Fonda ve Vera Miles oynamışlardı. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1958 yapımı ‘Vertigo – Ölüm Korkusu’. iMDB notu 8.4. Kim Novak ve James Stewart oynamaktalar. Yükseklik korkusu olan bir detektif bir arkadaşının karısının geçmişten gelip gelmediğini araştırır. Oldukça güzel bir filmdir. San Francisco’nun güzel manzaraları vardır. Öğrenci iken bu şehirde 15 gün kalıp bu filmi de hatırlamıştım. 2012 yılında yaklaşık 250 sinema yazarı tarafından gelmiş geçmiş en iyi film seçilmiştir. Bu filmi çok beğenmeme rağmen en iyi film olduğu kanısında değilim. İlk 20’ye 30’a falan girebilir ama en iyi olması şüphelidir. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1959 yapımı ‘North by Northwest – Gizli Teşkilat’. iMDB notu 8.4. Bence Hitchcock’un en güzel filmlerinden biri. Cary Grant ve James Mason oynamaktalar. Bir grup casus bir reklam yöneticisini hükümet ajanı sanırlar. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1960 yapımı ‘Psycho – Sapık’. iMDB notu 8.5. Bence Hitchcock’un en iyi filmi ve başeseri. Hitchcock deyince belkide akla gelen ilk film. Antony Perkins, Vera Miles ve Janet Leigh oynamaktalar. Gençken ilk defa seyrettiğim film Phoenix-Arizona’nın uzaktan görünümü ile başlar. Yine öğrenciyken bu şehirde 15 gün kalmıştım. Tabii filmi hatırlayıp biraz ürpererek. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1963 yapımı ‘The Birds – Kuşlar’. iMDB notu 7.7. Hitchcock deyince ‘Sapık’tan sonra akla gelen ikinci film bence budur. Rod Taylor ve Tippi Hedren oynamaktalar. Küçük bir kasabada canavarlaşan kuşlar. Bir çok insan bu filmi seyrettikten sonra belli bir süre kuşlara çekinerek bakmıştır zannımca. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1964 yapımı ‘Marnie – Hırsız Kız’. iMDB notu 7.2. Sean Connery (ilk James Bond) ve Tippi Hedren oynamaktalar. Yalancı ve hırsız bir kızı anlatan film Hitchcock’un başarılı filmlerinden pek sayılmaz. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1966 yapımı ‘Torn Curtain – Esrar Perdesi’. iMDB notu 6.7. Bence yine diğerlerine göre daha zayıf bir Hitchcock filmi. O zamanki demir perde ile ilgili bir casusluk filmi. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1969 yapımı ‘Topaz’. iMDB notu 6.3. Yine bir casusluk filmi. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

1972 yapımı ‘Frenzy – Cinnet. iMDB notu 7.5. Seri bir katili anlatan film bence orta karar bir Hitchcock filmidir. Türkiye’de DVD’si vardır.

Tabii Hitchcock yukardaki filmlerle kısıtlı değil. Daha bir çok benim görmediğim filmi var. Burada bahsetmedim ama bir de takdimciliğini yaptığı Alfred Hitchcock Presents diye dizisi var. 17 bölümden oluşan bu dizi 1955-61 arası yapılmış.

Hitchcock’un bahsetmeden geçemeyeceğim bir özelliği ise hemen hemen her filminde bir sahnede çok kısa görülmesidir.

Alfred Hitchcock (1899-1980) The Movies I Watched – 2

The continuation of my first article follows;

1956 Production ‘The Man Who Knew Too Much’. iMDB rating 7.5. As I wrote in my previous aricle, this movie is the second made of the 1934 movie. It is one of my best Hitchcock movies. And the song ‘Que Sera Sera’ that is ‘Whatever will be, will be’ which Doris Day sang with her wonderful voice is helping movie. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1956 production ‘The Wrong Man’. iMDB rating 7.5. Mixing up an innocent man with a guilty man. Henry Fonda and Vera Miles played. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1958 production ‘Vertigo’. iMDB rating 8.4. Kim Novak and James Stewart starred. A detective who has vertigo searches his friends’ wife whether she came from past or not. It is a rather good movie. It has beatiful scenery of San Fransisco. I stayed 15 days in this city in my university days. In 2012, it was chosen as the best movie to that day by the 250 film critics. I am not at the same opinion with the critics although I like very much this movie. It could be in the 20 or 30 but not the best. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1959 productin ‘North by Nortwest’. iMDB rating 8.4. For me, it is one of the best of Hitchcock’s. Cary Grant and James mason played. A group of spies think that an advertising manager is a government agent. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1960 production ‘Psycho’. iMDB rating 8.5. For me, it is the Hitchcock’s best and his masterpiece. It comes to mind when you hear Hitchcock’s name. Antony Perkins, Vera Miles and Janet leigh starred. I watched this movie in my youth and it starts with a general view of Phoenix-Arizona. Again, I stayed for 15 days in this city in my university days. Of course, I remembered the movie and it gave me a little chill. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1963 production ‘The Birds’. iMDB rating 7.7. This one comes to mind after ‘Psyco’ when you hear Hitchcock. Rod Taylor and Tippi Hedren played. It is about the restless and mean birds in a small town. I think many people were afraid of the birds for a while after seeing this movie. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1964 production ‘Marnie’. iMDB rating 7.2. Sean Connery (first James Bond) and Tippi Hedren played. It is about a liar and a thief girl. It is not considered one of Hitchcock’s good movies. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1966 production ‘Torn Curtain’. iMDB rating 6.7. According to me, this one is also a little weak movie of Mr. Hitchcock’s. It is related with a spy business in those days Iron Curtain. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1969 production ‘Topaz’. iMDB rating 6.3. Again a spy movie. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

1972 production ‘Frenzy’. iMDB rating 7.5. It is about a serial killer. A so-so Hitchcock movie. It’s DVD exists in Turkey.

Of course, these are not all of Mr. Hitchcock’s films. There are the ones that I did not watch. I did not mention here, but there is a serial that Hitchcock presented which is called ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’. It was between 1955-61 and there were 17 episodes.
